Rekindling Our Soul

Rekindling Our Soul

If you've followed the troll,
You've been on a roll.
Effectively losing identity;
No less, thoughts for empathy.

Cognizant, or not, of wrong,
Following along, ever so long:
The lies, conspiracies 'as a melody'
Resonating so over-dramatically!

Although, theater is only a show,
For the actors to glow.

Reality will triumph,
Regardless a false trumpet.
Common sense will prevail
While seemingly to no avail.

But constituents can't find joy,
While R-leaders fearfully stay coy.
Meanwhile fellowmen are waiting,
The troll to stop the baiting.

Oh, wait, the swindler went quiet,
Few words in many-days night!
While Roger Stone master of deceit,
'Stop the Steal' can't accept defeat.

The Chief's frivolous lawsuits sought
Can't make fair elections naught.
Meanwhile COVID is not dead.
But, Fauci-truth will come to head.

Veracity will come to light.
Righteousness will delight.

Decency aims for respect.
Integrity is ours to protect.
While dignity wins the day,
Self-discipline must be our stay.

Redemption necessarily our goal,
To reclaim the American soul.
Some say it's all in God's hand.
Although, HE gave freedom to man.

Can our nation withstand
The appalling sins of this land?
Providing, God is in control,
Pray, HE cleanses man's soul.
